Proof of eligibility is required for Residents, Students, Nurses, Allied Healthcare Professionals, Scientists, and WFSA group discounts.

Delegate
A qualified medical professional working in anaesthesiology, intensive care, pain medicine, perioperative medicine, or a related specialty. This includes consultants, specialists, and other fully qualified physicians.

Resident / Student
A participant currently in full-time training prior to specialist qualification

• Resident doctors who are medically qualified and currently undergoing specialist training (e.g. in anaesthesiology) prior to full certification in their specialty.
• Students currently in full-time education prior to receiving a medical degree or professional qualification (e.g. medical or nursing students).

Proof of status is required: an official letter from the institution or a valid student/resident ID must be uploaded during registration.

Nurse / Allied Healthcare Professional / Scientist
Healthcare professionals working in perioperative, critical care, or pain management settings, including:

• Nurses
• Allied Health Care Professionals (AHCP) (e.g. anaesthesia assistants, perfusionists, physiotherapists)
• Full-time researchers or scientists working in academic or scientific institutions, who do not hold a clinical position as an anaesthesiologist

Please note: Clinically active anaesthesiologists who are also engaged in research should register as Delegates (or as Residents if in specialist training).

Proof of status is required: an institutional ID or employer letter must be uploaded during registration.
