We’re pleased to introduce the new Innovation Award category for 2026-28: Blood Health (supported by an unrestricted educational grant from CSL Vifor).

WFSA Innovation Award in Blood Health

This award recognises practical and scalable innovations that improve patient blood management and surgical outcomes, with a focus on solutions for low-resource settings.

It supports efforts to address anaemia, reduce unnecessary blood transfusions, and improve perioperative care.

WFSA is grateful to CSL Vifor which is supporting this new award category with an unrestricted educational grant.
