Abstract Presentations at WCA2026
WCA2026 welcomed 3,705 participants from 132 countries to the Palais des Congrès, Marrakech. A total of 1,375 abstracts were presented as e-posters across the five-day programme.
All accepted abstracts were published in an e-supplement of Anesthesia & Analgesia, the official journal of the International Anesthesia Research Society (IARS).

Three competitions recognised outstanding work across the programme:
- Best Clinical Research Competition
- Best Basic Science Research Competition
- Best Track Abstracts Award
